Broadband for Scotland was a Scottish Government sponsored campaign which over an 18 month period transformed levels of broadband internet access and take up across Scotland .

• Increased access to this new technology from 57% of the population to 92%.
• Increased broadband usage by business from 13% to 33% and in the home from 4% to 19%.

Broadband for Scotland helped make Scotland one of the best connected regions in the UK .
