Colorado based IHS Inc is the new owner of ODS-Petrodata one of the world's leading providers of information and market intelligence to the offshore energy industry.

The move will support ODS's growth strategy and is a significant vote of confidence in the company's workforce in Aberdeen and other locations around the world.
