Scotland's leading sustainability charity Future Balance supported its 200th community group last month

The charity has worked with a wide variety of organisations to improve their business planning skills and governance handing out grants of more than £200K in the process.

Charities, community groups, and social businesses from Orkney to Dumfries have benefited from Future Balance's expertise in sustainable community development.

Among the 200 groups helped so far included those working in the health and education the arts and entertainment sectors.

Chief Executive Frazer Scott said: "Sustainability is a crucial element of any successful community based group. We've been delighted to have improved the performance of so many around the country and look forward to working with many more in the future."
